Aston Villa 1-1 West Brom

A couple of years ago Aston Villa fans would of laughed at you if you said they will be on the back foot against West Brom at home I am afraid for you Villa fans that silly remark came true.
West Brom were looking for their best start to a season since 1937 where as if Villa dint get three points that would of been their worst start to a season ever. In the first half it was like a typical derby bad tackles and the two teams afraid to go forward because of them being to scared of losing. So at half time it was a boring 0-0. But the second half looked more promising when Shane Long had a goal disallowed for offside. But 5 minutes later a great run from Morrison set up Long again but this time he tapped it in the goal to get the crazy Baggie fans going wild behind the goal. But with ten minutes later some pressure from Aston Villa put Bent on the half volley from a corner and that got the game level. Full Time: Aston Villa 1-1 West Brom

Norwich vs Liverpool: Match report

Liverpool have finally got their first win of the season after a open game with Norwich. Liverpool scored early on through Luis Suarez from out side the area but it wasn't the goal of the season.
Suarez scored again from out side the area with a curling shot in to the corner no chance for Ruddy. Early in the second half Suarez set up Sahin who scored his 3 goal in two games. Suarez got his hatrick again against Norwich and it was again a great turn and lovely finish. Steve Morrison got the goal to get Norwich some life after a mistake from Reina. But when Gerrard struck an out side area shot which deflected the flock of fans left Carrow Road but they missed when a shocker from Skrtel got a goal for Grant Holt. Taxi for Kean

Taxi for Kean in the end he ordered.
Finally after years of protests from the Blackburn supporters Steve Kean has finally left. He has resigned after he said it was "impossible" to work any more and he thinks he was unfairly treated by the owners. If I was him I should thank the owners for making him stay so long. If I was Kean I would of resigned ages ago to keep some dignity and a possibility of getting an other job. He should of resigned when Blackburn stayed up on his first season and now he isnt even friends with Sam Allardyce  so he cant bottle him out now.
Fans protest against Kean.
He has a shocking winning record only 28%. He lost 37 games in his time that is nearly a whole premier League season with out a win. But I have to admit it was quite funny while his time because I went to the game at Ewood Park when Liverpool beat them 3-2 and straight away the Blackburn fans got out there banners and started chanting "We want Kean Out"!

Fantastic Lewis

For any of you who read the Daily Mirror their reporter David Lewis made a fantastic piece on John Terry. He said that for a 50-50 challenge in the premier league you can be banned for 3 games so why being racist only four?
I bet that Jonjo Shelvey is watching at home and thinking for a 50-50 challenge I get a 3 game ban and Terry gets a 4 game ban. When Suarez got fined he got a 16 game ban until they reduced it to 8. If you are racist in your job you will be fired straight away so why is football different. I know they gave him an £220,000 fine but Suarez said he would rather pay the money than lose his dignity and respect for football. That is probally Terry is on a week. So do you think Terry was let off easily write on my fb page.

Terry banned 4 games your views

Terry what was he saying?

Chelsea refused to answer questions on the John Terry verdict at their manager's pre-match press conference but Roberto Di Matteo did say he was not worried about the defender losing his cool if selected against Arsenal.
Terry was banned for four matches by the Football Associationon Thursday for using racist language towards Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand in October last year.
The Chelsea centre-back is available for Saturday's game at  Arsenal as he has yet to decide whether to appeal against the FA's decision, and the club did not want to field any questions on the verdict when Di Matteo addressed the media ahead of Saturday's clash at Emirates Stadium.
The Blues boss did take some footballing questions on Terry, though, and insisted he had no fears about his mental state.
"He's a professional player," Di Matteo said, confirming he had spoken to the 31-year-old. "He's a senior player as well. He's got all the experience in the world."
Di Matteo did admit he felt the Terry case had dragged on for too long, adding: "It's taken a long time and the only thing we can do is just wait and see what happens.

Terry could be back for Arsenal game?????

John Terry looks set to captain Chelsea against Arsenal on Saturday in the Sky Live encounter at the Emirates while he decides whether to appeal against his four-match ban for racially abusing QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
An FA independent regulatory commission ruled Terry guilty of misconduct during the Barclays Premier League defeat at Loftus Road on 23 October last year.
The 31-year-old was also fined £220,000 though he expressed disappointment, through his representative team, at the FA's decision after the outcome.
Terry will have 14 days from receiving the written reasons to decide whether to lodge an appeal and the league ban and fine will not come into effect until after he has decided what to do.
Elite Management, said in a statement released on their client's behalf: "Mr Terry is disappointed that the FA Regulatory Commission has reached different conclusion to the clear not guilty verdict of a court of law.
"He has asked for the detailed written reasons of the decision and will consider them carefully before deciding whether to lodge an appeal."

Do Utd need referee's?

This debate is on my blogs Facebook page. Do you think Manchester Utd need referee's because today the decisions the referee made today were like they were making their own decision. There are better decisions when I play football with my mates.

full time: Liverpool Vs Manchester Utd

Liverpool lost to Manchester Utd at Anfield for the first time since 2007. This is the worse start to the season since 1899.
Liverpool played very well in the first half and it looked like Manchester Utd hadn't turned up. But in the 39th minute Jonjo Shelvey dived in with Johnny Evans and he was sent off, Shelvey went off swearing to Sir Alex Ferguson. Could that come crucial. Even though Liverpool went to ten men they took the lead through Gerrard with a great lay down and half volley.
4 minutes later a fantastic goal from Rafael got the scores level. But still Liverpool threatened and the Liverpool youngster Suso was looking dangerous. But in the 79th minute Johnson brought down Valencia and it was a penalty and Robin Van Persie scored and that was the three points for the red devils.

Liverpool went in front early on due to a shocker of an own goal that will be on one of them comedy football shows!
Enrique made a shocker of a mistake and passed it to the Young Boys player and they scored to make it 1-1.
But just before half time a debut goal from Wisdom the young centre back made Lfc lead at half time. Young Boys got an other goal with a header and then took a shock lead but a fantastic chip though.Coqates made it 3-3 and then late on Shelvey scored to make it 4-3 and a other one saw the reds on course with a 5-3 victory!

Everton came back to Goodinson after a good start to the season. When Baines scored early on from a great set up by him and Pineraar looked like a long night to Newcastle or could it? Newcastle were very lucky not to be 2-0 down after a great shot just before half time.
Straight in to the second half Demba Ba scored to level back to 1-1. After that it was like 5 a side one goal to an other.
In the 81st minute Anchibe had a goal disallowed but surly it went over the line. But then he scored 7 minutes later and surly a victory for Everton. But then Demba Ba again levelled in stoppage time.

Johnson out for most of the season

Out for most of the season

Queens Park Rangers have announced Andrew Johnson has been ruled out for the 'majority of the season' after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The injury-prone striker sustained the knee problem in Saturday's draw with Chelsea and had to be substituted before half-time.
Manager Mark Hughes at the weekend confirmed Johnson was set for a scan on his damaged joint and results have now confirmed the worst for QPR.
A statement on the club's official Twitter account read: "Andy Johnson suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury against Chelsea and is likely to be sidelined for the majority of the season."

Everton Vs Newcastle

Everton are aiming to return to winning ways when they welcome Premier League rivals Newcastle United to Goodison Park on Monday night.
The Toffees saw an 11-match unbeaten run stretching back to March ended when they were beaten 2-0 at West Bromwich Albion before the recent international break.
David Moyes' men have been notoriously slow starters in recent seasons, but blew that reputation apart in a blistering start which yielded excellent wins against Manchester United and Aston Villa in their opening two games.
But Everton, who are looking to preserve a five-match winning streak at Goodison, would climb back into the top three by beating a Newcastle side aiming to repeat last season's heroics.
The Magpies were the surprise package as they spent much of the season in the top four before eventually finishing fifth at the end of a marvellous top-flight campaign.
So far they have not reached the same heights in the new campaign, with some supporters fearing Alan Pardew's squad lacks sufficient depth to mount another assault on Champions League qualification.
It started encouragingly enough with a splendid opening day win against big-spending Tottenham, before the momentum was lost with a 2-0 defeat at European champions Chelsea and a frustrating 1-1 home draw against Villa.

Silva set for a new deal

Manchester City ace David Silva is set to snub interest from Real Madrid and put pen to paper on a new deal at the Etihad Stadium.
Silva set for 5 year contract
Silva, who recently helped Spain to a third consecutive major tournament success at Euro 2012, still has two years to run on his current deal but reports suggest he will sign a new five-year contract worth £52million.
The 26-year-old playmaker, who joined City from Valencia in 2010, has declared himself "totally satisfied" at the club after playing a starring role in their Premier League winning campaign last season.
His exploits reportedly caught the eye of Primera Liga giants Real but Silva is adamant he is not thinking of a move.
The Spaniard, who was the top assist scorer in the top-flight last term with 15, expects a new deal to be wrapped up sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the welcome- Mancini

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has said thanks for the welcome to Mourinho after he said after the defeat to Sevilla " There are just somethings you cant get with money. And also they cant buy history"!
Manchester City play Real Madrid on Wednesday night in Madrid for the champions league. My question is can City beat them? They have they players but do they have the guts? A draw with Stoke is not like a draw with Madrid. But maybe an upset. The last two English teams to play Real Madrid were Tottenham where they lost 4-0 and 1-0(5-0 Agg) But the last team to beat them was Liverpool 1-0 at Madrid thanks to a late Benayoun header and they won at Anfield 4-0 (5-0agg) so they are not unbeatable.

Sunderland Vs Liverpool

Sunderland faced a shocker of a Liverpool team today after their worst start to the season for fifty years for the reds. As usual Liverpool pressed early on and was unlucky with both of Borini efforts and Shelvey's.
But pnce again a great ball from Craig Gardener for Steven Fletcher put Sunderland 1-0 up in the 30th minute. Half time saw the black cats in the lead.
Nothing happend in the early minutes but in the 71third minute saw the reds get the goal they needed after a shocker of a mistake from Titus Bramble.
Final score: Sunderland:1-1Liverpool

Final scores

Super Berbatov

Fulham new striker Berbatov scored twice on his first start for Fulham. He scored a a good goal with a nice neat finish and then a penalty. West Brom's unbeaten record to the season is over after this defeat.
In the first half Peter Odemwingie was sent off and that really set the tempo for the game.

Rodgers-Sterling will have to fly for new contract

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has said that Raheem Sterling will have to fly to have a new and improved contract. Sterling has impressed many people this season so far but it is to early to know. Sterling is annoyed about not having a new contract because Liverpool rejected a £7.5million bid from Tottenham for him. But Rodgers says that he has to man up and score goals if he wants a better contract.
Liverpool might have to be forced to play most of their reserve strikers due to no replacement for Andy Carroll who joined West Ham on a season long loan. Yesil the young striker they bought impressed last night as they beat Chelsea u21 4-1 all of the goals coming in the second half.

Premier League football back!

Today we got some great games and full of drama on the pitch and off for the game between QPR vs Chelsea with the Anton Ferdinand hand shake with Terry and Cole and the heat of the game is going to be great! Sunderland vs Liverpool big game for Rodgers and after all that good news for Liverpool for Hillsborough so lets hope Liverpool win for the families and for the 96 fans who died.
Man Utd vs Wigan could it be an upset for Manchester Untied fans? Could Wigan win????? I don't think so.  Stoke and Man City could City batter Stoke or could Owen become the striker back for Success????? All of these questions will be answered today could this be a Super Saturday!?

No deal for January-Fiorentina

Scoring celebration

Fiorentina have denied that they have any agreement in place with Manchester City over the possible future transfer of forward Stevan Jovetic.
The 22-year-old was linked with a summer move to the Premier League champions, with Juventus also reported to be keen on the Montenegro international.
However, Jovetic eventually stayed in Florence, and Viola sporting director Daniele Prade has rejected talks of his departure in January.
Jovetic's buy-out clause? I want to close this issue once and for all," he told La Nazione. "What we will do, will be done in a transparent way.
"So when there will be news about Jovetic's contract, we will notify it in an official manner.
"A pre-arrangement with Manchester City? The Della Valle family (Fiorentina owners) has excellent relations with City but there is no preliminary contracts with anyone.
"Jo-Jo is our player and he will be at least until the end of the season."

FA aplogy

Football Association chairman David Bernstein has made 'a full and unreserved apology' following the findings of the Hillsborough Independent Panel.
In an FA statement, Bernstein also expressed "sincere condolences to all of the families of those who lost their lives and to everyone connected to the City of Liverpool and Liverpool Football Club".
The Hillsborough Independent Panel's report into the events at the FA Cup semi-final 23 years ago revealed a police cover-up had taken place which had intended to shift blame for the disaster, which claimed the lives of 96 Liverpool fans, to the victims themselves.
he ground did not have a valid safety certificate at the time of the match. Sheffield Wednesdayapologised on Wednesday and Bernstein followed suit on Thursday.
He said in a statement: "We are deeply sorry this tragedy occurred at a venue the FA selected.
"This fixture was played in the FA's own competition, and on behalf of the Football Association I offer a full and unreserved apology and express sincere condolences to all of the families of those who lost their lives and to everyone connected to the City of Liverpool and Liverpool Football Club."
Bernstein commended the work of the panel in compiling the report and expressed sympathy for the families.
He added: "This should never have happened. Nobody should lose their lives when setting out to attend a football match and it is a matter of extreme regret and sadness that it has taken so long for these findings to be published and the truth to be told.
"For 23 years the families have suffered unbearable pain and we have profound sympathy for them.
"I would like to commend the professional work of the Hillsborough Independent Panel, while also recognising the tireless commitment shown by so many people in maintaining the fight for justice, particularly the family support groups.

"THE TRUTH" finally

The Prime Minister has issued a "profound apology" to the families of the 96 football fans who lost their lives in the disaster at Hillsborough in 1989.
The Truth!
In a statement to the House of Commons, David Cameron also said that the Hillsborough Independent Panel report revealed that Liverpool fans were not to blame for the disaster at the FA Cup semi-final.
He said: "Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not at fault for the disaster."
The panel's findings also reveal that evidence provided to the original inquiry was significantly amended and that "authorities sought to give a completely unjust account of events."
The Hillsborough Independent Panel, chaired by the Bishop of Liverpool, the Rt Rev James Jones, found the initial inquest into the disaster and the subsequent Taylor Report contained many flaws.
Mr Cameron admitted that the findings of the Panel will be "deeply distressing", while he also lambasted the police and emergency services for their "shortcomings" on the day.
The Prime Minister conceded that "police reports were significantly altered" ahead of the original inquest, which blamed the tragedy on a lack of police control.
But the newly-published documents reveal that police and emergency services made "strenuous attempts" to deflect the blame onto innocent fans.
The latest report also claimed governments over the last 23 years had not done enough to challenge the initial findings, although there was no evidence that any government had been involved in a cover-up.
The emergency services stand accused of "multiple failures", and Mr Cameron insisted it was clear that more could have been done to save lives after the full scale of the tragedy became clear.
The Panel's report reveals that emergency services implemented a "cut-off point" of 3.15pm to attempt to revive those who had been crushed at the Leppings Lane end of the stadium.

Justice for the 96!

Prime Minister David Cameron's apology and the findings of the Hillsborough Independent Panel have been welcomed by campaigners who have now called for the parties responsible for the disaster to be made accountable.

The report confirmed South Yorkshire Police had sought to blame fans by instructing officers to change or amend their statements relating to the events of April 15, 1989.
Hillsborough families had suffered a "double injustice", both in the "failure of the state to protect their loved ones and the indefensible wait to get to the truth", and in the efforts to denigrate the deceased and suggest that they were "somehow at fault for their own deaths", Cameron told the House of Commons.
Sheila Coleman, spokesman for the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, believes there is still some way to go.
"Words are easy but of course the Hillsborough Justice Campaign welcomes the apologies. But we have had the truth, now it is time for justice," she said.
"Clearly people indulged in criminal activities by changing and altering statements and telling lies.

"If you or I did that we would be prosecuted - people cannot be above the law. Certainly the law-makers and those who are supposed to uphold the law shouldn't be above the law.
"How can you have faith in a police force which ordered its younger officers to alter their statements?
"This was not just one or two, it was the majority and the coroner's court was used by South Yorkshire Police to try to revert the Taylor Report.

Crouch- Me and Owen for England

Peter Crouch: Has linked up effectively with Michael Owen for England in the past
Could this happen again?
Peter Crouch believes Roy Hodgson should consider partnering him with Michael Owen for England if they are both scoring regularly for Stoke City.
Owen joined the Potters as a free agent earlier this week after being released by Manchester United at the end of last season, and Crouch is backing him to make a big impact at the Britannia Stadium.
Crouch still has international ambitions of his own and hopes to link up effectively with Owen at club level to provide Hodgson with a reminder of both of their qualities.
"If Michael stays fit he will score," Crouch said in the Sun Sunday.
"If he's playing regularly for Stoke and scoring in the Premier League, I don't see why he can't force his way into the England set-up.
"Stoke's profile is about to be raised just by the fact Michael is here and the gaffer has made a lot of shrewd summer signings.
"The future looks bright and, if we're scoring regularly in the Premier League for a successful team, why shouldn't we be considered again?"

Ronaldo no move to Man U

Today as usual in the Sunday papers in England they are making up more rubbish than usual. Today the Sunday Mirror reported that Sir Alex Ferguson is trying to lure Ronaldo back to Manchester Untied. For one reason that is false because Man Utd are in so much debt so why would they buy Ronaldo for the asking price of £150million.
Also all he wants is a bigger and better contract worth as much as Messi and finally Ferguson is not stupid why would he sell for £80million and buy for £70million over that I know he is worth that but he will just get someone younger and cheaper!
But Fergie does like Ronaldo though. But scoring over 113 goals in 111 games is a fantastic record but it just says how poor the La Liga is though. If he returns to the Premier League he would play for Manchester City because their owners could just look under their sofa and find the fee and his wages for 5 years but he will either go to America because he likes it there or his likely target is PSG, but don't worry it is just agent talk.

Lyon crisis- As Cris leaves

Brazilian defender Cris has left Lyon to join Turkish champions Galatasaray on a one-year deal, the French club have confirmed.

Cris, 35, admitted it was a wrench leaving Lyon, who he helped to win four league titles during his time in Ligue 1.
The centre-back spent eight years at the Stade de Gerland, making over 200 appearances following his arrival from Cruzeiro in 2004.
But he is relishing his new challenge with the Istanbul club.

"One door closes, another one opens," he told Lyon's official website. "This is a new chapter in my life. I'm happy on one hand, but also sad on another.
"I'm leaving the club where I spent eight seasons and experienced some wonderful moments. Lyon will always have a special place in my heart, and so will the supporters.
"It's not easy leaving this club, this city - but that's football. I wanted to finish my career at Lyon, but this is a good offer for me and the club."

I should be number 1- Lloris

Tottenham new boy Hugo Lloris has refused to get involved in the talk that he might not find himself No.1 keeper at White Hart Lane.

France coach Didier Deschamps expressed his concern that Lloris could fail to oust Brad Friedel as first-choice keeper following his deadline day switch from Lyon.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas warned Lloris after last weekend's draw with Norwich that he might struggle to play after Friedel produced an impressive performance against the Canaries.
Lloris brushed aside speculation about his prospects at Spurs, saying he is only focused on France's World Cup qualifier with Finland.
"About my personal situation, it is neither the right place nor the right moment to talk about it," said Lloris.
"I am only sure I am perfectly focused in the best way on French team and at the coach disposal for the start of WC qualifier.
"I believe I can be professional and take things into consideration. Today I am only focused on the French team objective."

Nani not going to Russia

Zenit St Petersburg claim that Nani's wage demands were the main reason for him not moving to Russia.

Nani playing for Portugal
Zenit were not shy in splashing the cash this summer after they completed the €100million double swoop of Hulk and Axel Witsel.
The Russian champions admitted that Hulk and Witsel were their top priorities, but they were still keen on Manchester United winger Nani.
The 25-year-old currently has two-years remaining on his deal at Old Trafford, but talks are reported to have stalled over an extension.
Zenit director-general Maxim Mitrofanov has now admitted that if Nani had agreed terms, he could have made the move to Russia's Second City.
"If Hulk had demanded €8 million to €10 million a year, these conditions would have been unacceptable for Zenit," Mitrofanov said.
"The transfer of Nani failed mostly due to this reason, as he asked for an enormous salary and we would not pay him."

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew thinks he has a squad capable of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League after successfully keeping hold of his star players.

After impressively finishing fifth in last season's Premier League, the likes of Tim Krul, Fabricio Coloccini, Cheick Tiote, Yohan Cabaye, Hatem Ben Arfa, Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse were all linked with summer moves.
Pardew has already blasted the unsettling role of agents during the transfer window and has blamed the rumour mill for Newcastle taking just four points from three games at the start of the current campaign.
But having ensured none of his key men were sold before last week's deadline day, the St James' Park boss now reckons his squad can kick on and finish in the top four of the Premier League.
"Although we are a big club, financially we are not as big as the others,"
"It is difficult to get some stability in your squad when players are being touted around.
"For us, it was very important to keep that group together.
"We worked hard last summer to bring them here, they did terrifically well, we finished fifth and we want to do the same again or even better."
