Johnson out for most of the season

Out for most of the season

Queens Park Rangers have announced Andrew Johnson has been ruled out for the 'majority of the season' after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The injury-prone striker sustained the knee problem in Saturday's draw with Chelsea and had to be substituted before half-time.
Manager Mark Hughes at the weekend confirmed Johnson was set for a scan on his damaged joint and results have now confirmed the worst for QPR.
A statement on the club's official Twitter account read: "Andy Johnson suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury against Chelsea and is likely to be sidelined for the majority of the season."
