AVB sacked!

As I said last night Tottenham manager, Andre Villas Boas has been sacked as Tottenham manager. More details on the way.

Sunday, 15 December 2013

AVB in big trouble, could he be sacked?

After today's embarrassing 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at White Hart Lane has put a lot of pressure on Tottenham Boss Andre Villas Boas.
How long will he be in that Tottenham chair?
Andre Villas Boas was very sad and angry about today's performance and with a 5-0 defeat at home to Champions League contenders Liverpool and a 6-0 away thrashing at Manchester City is raising questions of Andre Villas Boas and Daniel Levy who spent over £100 million in the summer transfer window. Today a Suarez double, Sterling, Flanagan and Henderson goals finished Tottenham who didn't even get a shot on target. This is also raising questions of £26 million Soldado, my opinion is if he has a chance he will score but Tottenham are not creating enough chances for him and I feel sorry for him. This season Tottenham has only scored 7 goals at home in the league and 15 overall in the league. This is really putting pressure on AVB as he refuses to play two strikers upfront in Defoe and Soldado. These are the next odds for the next Tottenham manager:
Michael Laudrop 7/1
Fabio Cappelo 11/2
Glen Hoddle 10/1
Luis Enrique 7/1

Suarez V Aguero

This has been a recent argument on social network sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Who is better Suarez or Aguero?
Who is better? Vote now, on are Facebook page
Luis Suarez: So far this season Suarez has scored 14 premier League goals from 11 matches. He has scored two hatricks against West Brom and Norwich. He has scored some cracking goals. His four goals V Norwich last Wednesday was just out standing, His volley, his lobbing of defenders and free kicks are just out of this world. He has scored more goals this season than Aguero in less matches in not a great team compared to Manchester City and the likes of Toure, Nasri, Kompany and Many others.
Sergio Augero: He has had a great season, so far he has scored 12 goals. But he has played more games than Suarez in a better team so I am sorry, Man City fans, Suarez takes the award and especially when most of Suarez's goals will be in the top ten goals of the season.

West Brom V Aston Villa team news

Team News: West Brom forward Nicolas Anelka is fit after recovering from the groin problem that ruled him out against Chelsea.
The Baggies will assess Scott Sinclair's hamstring injury, while Billy Jones is ruled out with a similar problem.
Aston Villa are optimistic that Christian Benteke and Andreas Weimann will be fit to play despite respective knee and hamstring injuries.
Ciaran Clark, Antonio Luna and Fabian Delph are also back in contention.
ko: 8:00pm
Prediction: West Brom 1-3 Aston Villa

Saturday, 2 November 2013

If I had to pick a player from Every Premier League club

Arsenal: I would have Ozil. His passing, shooting and vision is just amazing, and he will help Arsenal for a title challenge.
Aston Villa: There are not many players I would have from Aston Villa, so I would go for the power house striker, Benteke, for his strength and his shooting ability.
Cardiff: From Cardiff I would have, Peter Wittingham, his passing and coolness for a penalty is just amazing.
Chelsea: There are many players I would have from Chelsea, but I would go for Mata, I am amazed that he doesn't play often and his display in the Capital one cup against Arsenal was amazing.
Crystal Palace: Barry Bannan, the choice was limited but he has a good shot and passing ability, if he finds form he could raise Crystal Palace up.
Everton: Everton have many good players but I would have Baines, his free kicks his crossing is just out of this world!
Fulham: I would have Scott Parker, his toughness and his passing and his determination to win is just amazing.
Hull: There are a few players I admire from Hull, For me I would have Tom Huddlestone, he has just been amazing for Hull, and close behind is their top goalscorer, Brady.
Liverpool: I like strikers who can change a game in a second, and Luis Suarez can do that, either from a set piece or by open play.
Manchester City: I would have Yaya Toure, his power and pace is just amazing and he is just a top bloke in real life as well.
Manchester Untied:  I would have, Wayne Rooney. He is a great footballer all round and he can play midfield as well.
Newcastle: I would have Yohan Cabaye. He is just a great player, from his passing and long range efforts.
Norwich: I would have Nathan Redmond, he is a great English winger who has more step overs than Neymar.
Southampton: I would have Southampton in form, defender, Lovern, his goals have been vital and with many clean sheets he wins for me.
Stoke City: I would have Begovic, he is a great goalkeeper and his diving saves or just amazing.
Sunderland: I would have Adam Johnson, he has not been in form but he is a good player on his day.
Swansea: I would have Michu, he is a great player and scores goals from midfield.
Tottenham: I would have Vertonghen, he scores goals and is a rock at the back.
West Brom: I would have either Morrison for his amazing long range efforts or Ben Foster because he is a great goalkeeper who keeps many clean sheets.
West Ham: I would have Morrison, his passing and skill is amazing I hope he becomes a England regular soon.

My new theory why Alex Ferguson retired at Manchester Untied?

why did he leave?
My new theory of why Alex Ferguson retired from Premier League winners, Manchester Untied. Alex Ferguson always made it clear that he wanted to beat Liverpool in the League titles and in Europe, but why did he quit?
My Idea is that the Manchester Untied team is very old in players such as: Robin Van Persie, Rio Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick and many more big players and he must of thought a serious investment in the team has to be made to get young talent in, and the owners couldn't do that. Alex Ferguson wanted to finish at the top as many managers would like to do and left all of the work for David Moyes. Watching Manchester Untied their is no class from their players. They are scrapping out wins and draws. In my opinion they need at least £150 million to bring in young talents such as: El Shaarawy,Draxler, Baines, Papadopoulos, Will Hughes and Benzma from Real Madrid.

Townsend is the future?

Celebration for his debut goal.
Well when Roy Hodgson put in youngster, Andros Townsend many people thought he was out of his mind. But I liked the move as he is more of an attacking threat than Milner. And his move as he scored a spectacular goal from outside the penalty area on his debut as England beat Montenegro 4-1 to increase their chances of going to Rio next year.
Roy Hodgson idea last night was to put in players who were in good form. Andros Townsend enjoyed a good start to the season with Tottenham and it was a good choice. But in my opinion I would of liked to see Fraser Forster in for Joe Hart and Ross Barkley in for Lampard. Well England have now officially got a play off now but England would like to go through as group winners.

Moyes is he good enough?

'Your the chosen one Moyes'
Well after losing to West Brom today at Old Trafford, Manchester Untied fans will not be pleased. David Moyes in my opinion is not good enough to succeed at Manchester Untied because his profile does not suit the bill to be the manager. What has he won? Nothing or maybe one trophy with Preston, at Manchester United you have to win a trophy every year or you are under pressure from the fans and the owner.
Well I believe if this carries on He will be sacked by Christmas. But the problem is, you can sack Moyes but what good managers are out there that can replace him. In my opinion Harry Redknapp would not be a bad choice just to re-build on a one year contract and wait till great manager come available to bring you title success.

Ozil in advanced talks with Arsenal

Well Arsenals fans must of been surprised when they turned Sky Sports News on to see Jim White saying Ozil 'is in advanced talks with Arsenal'.
Arsenal last night made a massive £42.5 million bid for the talented midfielder. Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger wanted the midfielder after his great world cup in 2010 but instead he joined Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
Manchester Untied this morning dismissed rumours that they will make a bigger bid this morning. More on Ozil as the day goes on.

Willian has joined....

Signing for Chelsea today
Anzhi midfielder, Willian has joined Chelsea on a five year contract. The transfer for the Brazilian midfielder transfer has been really complicated as he had a medical at Tottenham and he was on the verge of signing before Chelsea came in and Signed him for £30 million.
Last week, Willian was set to join Liverpool but they did not match Tottenham fee for the player. When Liverpool matched the same fee of Chelsea, Willian turned them down as he wanted Champions League Football. Also Russian club Zenit wanted him. Every day there was a new club linked with him. Willian is a good player and he scores goals but what worries me for Chelsea fans is that he has only got two caps for Brazil. So why is a £30 million midfielder has not really broke through for his country at 25? Willian joined Russian club, Anzhi only in January. But Anzhi billionaire owner put all of his team on the transfer list as he fell out of interest in football.

Premier League prediction

My Premier League prediction:
Premier League winners: My Premier League winners are going to be Manchester City because they bought some great players and with a experienced attacking manager, I think they will beat Manchester Untied on the last day, again.
Champions League spot: My three champions league spots go to Manchester Untied, Chelsea and Tottenham in that order. Moyes still has a good team at Untied and he may struggle to win the League but he will get Champions League football. Chelsea with the special one, It is going to be interesting but they have good players and a great manager so a easy top three spot. My last place goes to Tottenham. With Bale may be leaving they will have money to spend, also with players like Soldado and many others they will be a good side his year.
Europa League: My Europa League place goes to Liverpool. I saw Arsenal yesterday and they were woeful. If Arsenal don't bring any new players in I will see them struggle to a top 7 place. Liverpool will get there because they have got a good striker force with Coutinho and Sturridge.
My surprise side of the year: I think it will be West Ham's year. I think this because their owners have been find this summer by spending cash on a good plan. With two good wingers in Downing and Jarvis they will be vital as Carroll headers them in. With a good defence they may come 7th if they try.
Worst team of the year: I think from what I saw yesterday, Arsenal have to buy some new players. They have to many injured players and they have no class in their side now.
Relegated teams in order: Crystal Palace to come last because they have bought no Premier League players so they will struggle. Hull City as well because they have not brought in great players, Danny Graham is not going to help you stay up is he? My last side is going to be Stoke City. Stoke have no goals in their side. I don't see Peter Crouch scoring 10 goals this year.
Top Goalscorer: After yesterdays great display I think Robin Van Persie will win it for the third time in a row.,
Surprise player of the year: I think it will be Aspas from Liverpool. I saw him over pre-season and he was good, he had a good touch and a good pace, he will do well.

Bale what is going on?

Tottenham super star winger, Gareth Bale is considering moving to Spanish giants, Real Madrid for a world record fee of £105 million!
Bale wants to leave White Heart Lane this summer as he wants 'champions League football'. Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy has said he does not want to sell Bale, but Bale and his advisor's has said that if Tottenham don't get football he can move. Bale a few years ago nearly moved to Birmingham city and Tottenham nearly bought Liverpool winger, Stewart Downing while he was at Middlesbrough. I just wonder now how things have changed. Bale may move to Madrid as early as this week as Tottenham have bough Valencia striker, Robert Soldado for their club record fee of £26 million. In the £105 million deal there are now Real Madrid players concluded.

The awful FA

The English FA really need to sort out the football in the country. Watching England senior team is god awful to watch, when I watched the 1-1 draw with The Republic Of Ireland I fell asleep. No word of a lie I did. And with the u21,u20 and the women teams being knocked out in the group stage and without winning a match.
150 years of jokes of the English football
If you look at teams such as Belgium and Spain a few years ago they were not world beaters. But due to their football organization they changed the coaching in the whole country from every age level and in every club in England even your local club. The English way is get the ball and hoof it forward for a target man. When I was in Ibiza last week I had the pleasure to play football on the beach with people from Spain and Germany and they were playing great football passing it around, where as to me hoofing it up. And that is because of the way I have been coached. If you look at it, The Belgium football organization changed the coaching ten years ago so the players such as Eden Hazard, Fellaini,Wistel,Kompany and many more would of been 12-16. So they would have been coached at least for five years to play good football. It is not hard to change the way of football if you look at Liverpool, Swansea and many others, they changed their way of football and now they look like challenging for things. When England played Italy in the Euro Championships 2012, England couldn't keep hold of the ball and pass it round. In the end the Italians just laughed at us and that is a disgrace. England made football so we should be winning things. Roy Hodgson can moan about all of the foreign players in the premier League and that is due to the coaching and he still has a good selection. And now England are the 15th best team in the world. I hope you agree with me.

Chelsea bid for Rooney

Chelsea have launched a bid for Manchester Untied striker, Wayne Rooney. Manchester Untied boss has aid this week that Rooney is 'back up for Van Persie' and if any manager says that about a world class striker such as Rooney will anger him.
Which one will be wearing red or blue?
Jose' Mourinho has offered £10 million and Jaun Mata or David Luiz in the deal. David Moyes does not want to sell Rooney and he does not want to sell him to a rival club. Wayne Rooney really wants to leave but with David Moyes not wanting him to leave will make Old Trafford the place for the summer transfer market. PSG have been ruled out of a move for Wayne Rooney as yesterday they signed Edinson Cavani from Napoli.

Hooper close to QPR

Celtic star striker, Gary Hooper is close to joining Championship side, QPR. This deal annoys me because very year in Scotland, Rangers and Celtic want to join the English Leagues but the SPL'S star striker is a Championship standard.
He is close to England move
Hooper is about to sign a five year contract for £60,000 a week in a £5 million deal. Hooper was close joining Norwich in January but Celtic just did not want to sell him. But with one year left on his contract Celtic have to sell him or lose him for free. Hooper is going back to the Championship after Celtic signed the English striker from Scunthorpe.

Wayne Rooney to leave Man U?

Add caption
Yesterday in a press conference, New Manchester United manager, David Moyes said 'Rooney is not available'. But I belive if the bid is good enough I think he may consider. He does not want to sell the English striker as he does not want the fans against him at such an early stage in his Man United career.
Rooney is annoyed as Robin Van Persie has took his place and with Man United new formation of 4-5-1 it looks like he will be a super sub. With Arsenal clear favourites, will Rooney take a pay cut to go to London?

manuel Pellegrini is the new Manchester City manager!

New man for the blue moon
Man City have confirmed yesterday that they have confirmed the appointment of Malaga manager, Manuel Pellegrini. Manuel Pellegrini comes to city after coming 6th with a low budget with Malaga due to finical reasons, he also got Malaga to the Quarter finals of the Champions League before two late goals from Borussia Durtmund sent them out.
Everyone knew Manchester City were going to get Manuel Pellegrini but the deal was delayed because Malaga have not paid him for two months. So in the end there was no compensation fee due to that. Pellegrini has identified Isco as his main transfer target. Isco was at Malaga with Pellegrini and sources close to Malaga a £20 million bid will interest Malaga. Manchester City owners want a cup every year and they want their League back off rivals, Manchester Untied, Will he do it or will he just be sacked?

Iago Aspas having a medical at Liverpool

Liverpool are about to complete the signing of Celta Vigo striker, Iago Aspas. Liverpool are interested in a striker as they want four strikers as Brendan Rodgers wants to be competing in cups in England and he wants a big squad to help Liverpool to a top four finish.
Will he do this in front of the Kop?
Aspas scored twelve goals this and has got eight assists. For a striker who is in a bad team that is very good. Also Celta Vigo only scored 36 goals last year in the League so Aspas scored more than half of the team goals. If you watch him on youtube you will smile because he is a delight to watch. He is a great left footer who can score and set up. He burst in with great pace and beats his defender any time. Liverpool are hopeful they can sign him tomorrow for £7.7 million. They could of signed him for £6 million but on the last game of the season Celta Vigo stayed up and Aspas made a great assist on the counter attack beating his defender and a great through ball. I will tell you now Premier League defenders watch out.

Frankie Lampard!!!!!

1-1! Daniel Sturridge slots a ball through for Lampard and a deflection puts it in Lampard favour and he slots past Forde!!!!!

LONG!!!!!!!!

Great cross in the penalty area from Coleman and a great header from Shane Long in the corner no chance for Joe Hart! And it is the ' luck of the irish'

England V Republic of Ireland live coverage

Live updates from Wembley, I want Daniel Sturridge to score a hatrick!

England V Republic of Ireland

England are without a number of players for their first game against Republic of Ireland since 1995.Steven Gerrard (shoulder), Andy Carroll (heel), Jack Wilshere (ankle), Tom Cleverley (calf) and Kyle Walker all miss out.Los Angeles Galaxy have given permission for striker Robbie Keane to join up with the Republic squad.Keane initially looked set to miss the game because it falls outside of the international window.

Kolo Toure shock target for Liverpool

Manchester City defender, Kolo Toure  is a shock target for Liverpool. Liverpool are looking in the market for two centre backs as Martin Skrtel's career is un clear and Jamie Carragher.
Kolo Toure is experienced centre back who is only a few games away of being a good player again. I have a 50-50 feeling on him. He will either do very well or poor. He used to be a good player until he joined Manchester City. He is available on a free transfer on the 1st of June. So Liverpool want t start there summer off well.

City manager sacked!

Mirror copy right: Wave good bye to the fans
A Year to the day Of the Manchester City won the Premier League after Augero's last minute winner. And now Roberto Mancini has been sacked as Manchester City manager. According to City's owner he said Manchester City did not achieve the targets he wanted at the start of the season.
Also the big key point was that Manchester City's football this season has been very poor. I have not watched one game this year where Manchester City played great football like last season. Also that they made the knockout stage of the Champions League was a key factor. Also the rubbish signings who Mancini brought in were bad. They were hopeless. Look at them: Rodwell (one goal V Man U for Everton made him good) Richard Wright ( Don't get me started) Garcia ( Good at times but not world class) and much more. From sources close to Manchester City say that they have agreed to bring in Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini. I think this will be a good choice as he has done well with little money with the new finical rules coming in place this year, also he has good Champions League experience.

Fergie retires from Manchester Untied after a great 27 years at Untied

Sir Alex Ferguson has shocked the footballing world by retiring after 27 years in charge of Manchester Untied. Manchester Untied brought in Alex Ferguson from Aberdeen after he knocked off Rangers and Celtic to win the League. So Untied wanted to do the same. They wanted to knock off Liverpool and Arsenal. And what a job Sir Alex Ferguson did of it. These are some pictures of the great man.

Super Suarez to stupid Suarez gets a ten match ban!

Suarez biting
Today reports in England are suggesting that Luis Suarez may quit England due to his ten match ban for biting Chelsea centre back, Ivanovic. The Striker has apologised for his actions but he made it worse for him as he scored a last gasp equaliser for Liverpool who drew 2-2.
Suarez has been banned before for biting someone in football when he bit a PSV player. He got banned for five matches plus his club Ajax gave him a two match ban. He said that ever since that moment with PSV he had to go around Amsterdam with his hood up. Luis Suarez got banned for eight games last year for racially abusing Evra. But today many people think ten games is to long as many other players have had lower bans for worst things and people are saying he only got banned for so long due to his nationality. If Suarez still plays for Liverpool next season he will miss the start of the Premier League and the League cup.

Cardiff are the Champions!

Starting from next season there will be a Welsh derby in the Premier League. Yesterday afternoon Swansea's biggest rivals, Cardiff were promoted to the Premier League as the Champions of the Championship.
Cardiff sealed their promotion in mid week but if they didn't lose to Burnley at Turf Moor they would be Champions. Well they scored early on from a cracking effort. But late on in the game Burnley equalised. Well it was not the best way to win the League but Blackburn did the same thing when they lost to Liverpool in the last minute but they still won the Premier League. But starting from next season who will be the bettter team from Wales?

Sunderland sack Martin O'Neil

The end for O'Neil
Last night the footballing world was shocked as Sunderland manager, Martin O'Neil was sacked as the Sunderland manager. He was sacked as Sunderland lost to Manchester Untied at The stadium of Light as an Titus Bramble own goal got the three points for Sunderland.
O'Neil leaves Sunderland 16th in the Premier League and only one point away from the drop zone. Martin O'Neil was appointed Sunderland manager December 2011. He got off to a good start as they beat Blackburn with a late free kick. But this season, Sunderland have been poor. They have been unable to score goals and their top quality players are not performing. Sunderland have said they will try to replace him this week with the likes of: Guus Poyet, David Moyes. Paoli Di Canio and many more. People have been saying why would Moyes leave Everton to join Sunderland, but he might as they have money to spend if they stay up.

Reading get Adkins

New Reading manager
Sorry I have not been on for a while as my Internet and my computer broke. But lets get back to the news that former Southampton manager, Nigel Adkins is the new Reading manager.
Reading sacked Brain McDermott a few weeks ago and they have contacted many managers to help them stay up in the Premier League. If Reading do get relegated their mega rich Russian owner will give Adkins a whopping £30 million to spend in the Championship.
Reading enjoyed some good form over Christmas, and throughout that spell they got the nickname "come back kings". But sadly a few bad performances in the new year got McDermott the sack. Adkins has to be a genius if Reading stay up because they are seven points adrift of safety and with no Transfer market to help he will have to use his wise tactics. But to end on a joke, If Reading stay up and Southampton go down how annoyed will Southampton fans be?

Happy Birthday Torres!!!!!!

Owen to retire at the end of the season!

Owen scoring V Manchester City
Today Michael Owen has announced his retirement. Michael Owen has enjoyed a very successful career scoring many goals and winning many trophy's.
My Favourite memory of Michael Owen is when he scored two goals late on against Arsenal in the Fa Cup Final in 2001. It was my favourite memory of him as he was young  and Liverpool have been hammered the whole Game V Arsenal and in the end they won 2-1. At Liverpool and Real Madrid he had a very good record with goals and his fitness. But when he joined Newcastle his fitness record sank faster than the Titanic as he didn't even average half of Newcastle games.
After his bad spell at Newcastle he joined Liverpool arch rivals, Manchester Untied on a free transfer. Several attempts for Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard to make Owen joined were rejected by Rafa.  His best moment came in a Manchester Untied shirt when he scored a last minute winner in the Manchester Derby as Manchester Untied clinched it from a well earned draw for Manchester City. And in the same season Michael Owen scored a hatrick in the Champions League against German champions (at the time) Wolfsburg. Manchester Untied released Owen and he moved to Stoke City. He has only scored one goal and that was against Swansea as Stoke lost 3-1. Now he may become an FA ambassador as he has announced his retirement at the end of the season. Owen has also made 89 caps for England and scored against Germany as England beat them 5-1 in their own country.

Reading players don't want Di Canio!

Di Canio at Swindon Town
Reading players have gone public today that they do not want Ex Swindon boss, Paolo Di Canio. Last month Di Canio resigned at Swindon Town as he says "broken promises were made".
The Reading players fear with eight games left Di Canio does't have enough Premier League experience and they say he is always angry. Di Canio has had several scraps or hand bags you may say with two players at Swindon. Di Canio won League two with Swindon on his first season and before he left they were second in League One after a great run before Christmas. Reading have also been linked with Nigel Adkins and Roberto Di Matteo to guide them the Premier League survival. But with the new manager they can not buy any players as the Transfer window is closes so the new manager needs to lift the side. And any way Reading are also looking at likes of Di Matteo and Di Canio because they have experience of getting clubs promoted to the higher League. The Reading owner wants them to stay up but he may look to get promoted next year again.

Wednesday, 13 March 2013

Di Canio to save Reading?

Ex Swindon boss, Paolo Di Canio has emerged favourite to become the new Reading manager. On Monday Reading sacked their manager Brain McDermott. Ex Swindon boss was at his last game as Reading lost to relegation struggler's, Aston Villa.
Ex Chelsea boss, Roberto Di Matteo is also been linked, and Ex Southampton manager Nigel Adkins. McDermott enjoyed a good spell over Christmas and just now it has fell apart, Reading have lost their last four games. My Favourite choice will be Di Canio as he is a strong character to change the dressing room as he can not buy any one as the Transfer window is closed. So now can Reading stay up? On Saturday they face a very strong Manchester Untied side.

Wigan are so weird!

FT: Everton 0-3 WiganA humiliating defeat for Everton in a game they were really expected to win. Wigan's three goals came in four minutes in the first half when Everton's defence switched off completely. The goals were scored by Figueroa, McManaman and Gomez. In the second half Wigan held on comfortably for the win and David Moyes will be bitterly disappointed in his side for failing to put Wigan under any real pressure.

Fergie is fuming!

Manchester United's Nani
Nani getting sent off!
When Sergio Ramos scored an own goal last night for Manchester Untied all of the 70,000 Manchester Untied fans must of been confident of a victory.
But in the 56th minute the referee sent off Nani for a high challenge. It was a bad decision and that was a crucial moment in the tie as former Tottenham midfielder, Luka Modric levelled with a great striker from around twenty five yards! It looked like it was wide but it swung in to the the inside of the post when it went in. And then to add to the pain to Manchester Untied fans, their former hero scored. Yes you know who it is, Ronaldo scored from close range as it was a good ball in.After that Manchester Untied had a few chances  but some good saves from Lopez denied Rooney twice! So it was a sad end for Ryan Giggs 1000th game. People are suggesting now that Rooney may leave as he did not start. Welbeck replaced him as he works harder up front.

Liverpool V Zenit

Liverpool were knocked out of the Europa League last night on away goals as they only got 4/3 of their comeback complete. The Anfield crowd was buzzing for this game as Rodgers wanted them to sing and create a good atmosphere.
Suarez scoring his first free kick!
Hulk scored from a bad mistake from Jamie Carragher as he passed it back and Huk scored to make it 3-0 to Zenit, meaning Liverpool had to score four goals because of the European away goals. Liverpool levelled through Luis Suarez. It was a very good free kick as he hit below the wall. It was a great goal as I was behind the goal in the Lower Anfield Road. Just before half time Joe Allen scored! His header was saved and he scored the rebound. In the second half Suarez scored an other free kick as he scored a great free kick! It flew in to the top corner. As Liverpool were 3-1 up with half and hour left it looked like Liverpool could do it, but Rodgers made changes with Henderson, Allen and Downing coming off for Assadi, Shelvey and Sterling! The changes didn't work and Liverpool went out. Just to say thankyou to the Liverpool fans I was around as they gave me a free hot dog and a coke! They said I was the priest of Anfield!

Arsene Wenger will he stay?

The end to an era?
The Fa Cup defeat to Blackburn at the Emirates really made Arsenal fans raise their eye brows about the future of Arsene Wenger. Arsene Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal for eighteen years. Arsene Wenger has finished in the top four for all of his time at Arsenal but know with twelve games left and Arsenal fifth and four points off top four it looks very doubtful.
Over years Arsenal have sold their key players such as: Van Perise, Nasri, Fabregas, Vieria and many more. But the real problem is that Wenger has never replaced them. If you look back at replacements for them they were average. When they sold Nasri and Fabregas in the summer of 2011 they bought Everton midfielder, Arteta. Arteta is a good player but he is not world class. And when they sold Robin Van Perise to their enemy's, Manchester Untied. And to replace him they bought Oliver Giroud and Lukas Poldolski.
From my opinion Arsenal will not sack Wenger because of his history. Wenger led Arsenal to a unbeaten season in 2003/2004. But Arsenal have not won a trophy for eight years and it is saying that do Arsenal need a manager that is hungry to win? Arsenal's best chance of winning a trophy in the eight years was the Carling Cup in 2011 when they lost to Birmingham in the last minute. That season Birmingham were relegated. The Arsenal board have came out today saying " Wenger's jobs safe". But how much longer do Arsenal fans have to wait for a trophy. Arsenal are ready to back Wenger in the summer by giving him £70 million to spend in the summer. Also Arsenal will give him a new two year contract. But if a bid comes in from PSG for Wenger it will be hard to reject from Wenger and Arsenal.
