It looked like it was wide but it swung in to the the inside of the post when it went in. And then to add to the pain to Manchester Untied fans, their former hero scored. Yes you know who it is, Ronaldo scored from close range as it was a good ball in.After that Manchester Untied had a few chances  but some good saves from Lopez denied Rooney twice! So it was a sad end for Ryan Giggs 1000th game. People are suggesting now that Rooney may leave as he did not start. Welbeck replaced him as he works harder up front.
