Rodgers to up the Dempsey chase

With only five days to go until the end of the transfer market and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has upped his chase to sign American winger Clint Dempsey. He has not played for Fulham for the last 2 games because he is on strike because of his move to Liverpool was blocked.
Liverpool offed £7.5million for the 29 year old who is in the last year of his contract. But from my sources £9million could be enough to lure him to Anfield. He wants a move to Liverpool and Liverpool want him so they should let him go.  Five seasons at Fulham he has scored 60 goals and last season he scored 21 goals in all games. He should sign on Wednesday.
