Chelsea boss Roberto di Matteo could recall John Terry after he was dropped to the bench for their Champions League game this week.
Eden Hazard is also likely to return having also started Tuesday's game among the substitutes, but Daniel Sturridge remains sidelined.
Norwich could welcome back defender Sebastien Bassong (hamstring) who missed the 5-2 defeat by Liverpool.
