Aston Villa striker Darren Bent is a shock target for Liverpool. According to Caught offside with the money that they sell Carroll with and then they will spend £20million on Bent. From my view I don't think its true because he is 29 I do know that he is a prolific goal scorer but Liverpool could buy Defoe for £7 million who is an prolific goal scorer and has a great record. But also Newcastle could offer Liverpool £12.5 million for Carroll plus Demba Ba. So I think they should rule out Bent and get Defoe or maybe Ba they are both great but Ba has a bad knee so Defoe would be my favourite to join Liverpool and he is one of mine favourite strikers.

Bent is a shock.
