Lyon keeper far from close

Tottenham goalkeeping coach Tony Parks claims a deal for Hugo Lloris remains 'far from done', but admits he would welcome the arrival of the Lyon shot-stopper.

Lloris was pictured arriving at Spurs' training ground earlier on Friday, with discussions set to be held regarding a deadline day move.
The France international has been linked with a switch to White Hart Lane for some time, with Lyon announcing early on in the window that they would be forced to part with senior figures in an effort to raise funds.
Tottenham have left it late, though, to try and piece together a deal for the highly-rated 25-year-old.
An agreement would appear to have been reached with Lyon, freeing Lloris to head to London, but personal terms must be thrashed out before 11pm if a man widely regarded as one of the best in the business is to join a number of his fellow countrymen in the Premier League.
"I have just seen him in the training ground with his father,"
